Remote healthcare could be a great option for those carers that have little time to schedule appointments
Some healthcare appointments and sessions can take place over remote platforms like Skype, over the phone or on email. This can free up a lot of time for you as the carer but also make things easier for your loved one.
There are a whole range of online services you can use to make life a little easier for yourself. By using remote healthcare and advice you can also benefit yourself, you may not have to take time off work or you can start to plan to go out more with friends and family.
For some of these services you will have to contact your local GP to see if they do offer them in your area. Some may also need a referral in order to take part. You can also find private organisations such as Babylon that offer these services.
By having appointments online your daily schedule could be freed up, leaving you with more time to spend doing things that are important to you.
